In April 2019, Jade became a Spring 2019 initiate of the first business and professional sorority for African American women, Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc.,. Crossing at the Delta Phi Chapter at Howard University, Jade has held e-board positions as Journalist, Corresponding Secretary, Programming Co-Chair, Recruitment Co-Chair, and Assistant Dean of Intake.
Previously as Journalist, curated content across all of our social media platforms and increased the chapter’s weekly social media impressions and engagement with 20K monthly impressions on Instagram, 118K Twitter impressions for the 2019-2020 sorority year and 200% Instagram followers increase.
As Assistant Dean of Intake, implemented various recruitment strategies; Increased the chapter’s membership by 60% in 2 years; Co-developed and designed the sorority’s national undergraduate intake process; Co-led the intake process for three recruitment cycles.
